LNDN Accepts “Life Like That” in Touching Dream Pop Single
In a sentimental, vocally-driven dream-pop ballad, LNDN strikes a delicate balance between reflection and acceptance and, in the process, reminds us all that moving on is just a part of life. LNDN is a musician, songwriter and producer based out of Vancouver Island, Canada. Writer of catchy melodies, self depreciating lyrics and interesting production. Other known interests include composing, acting, volunteer firefighting, walking his dog and being a bit of a gym rat.
As LNDN simply puts it, this is a song about acceptance. Vibrant piano keys glisten behind the passionate vocals which readily relay the sensitivity of the lyrics. As LNDN considers how ambition has played a role in his life over the years – how it’s gotten in the way of family, friends, and relationships – he also expresses regret, which is echoed in the softness of his voice, for being too caught up in himself to realize what he was taking for granted. The memorable hook reflects the central idea of acceptance. While LNDN wishes he could have done things differently, as he asks if he “could have another shot at a life like that,” he also acknowledges that he needs to deal with those wishes and feelings in a healthy way.
