Kasbo dropped his second single, titled “Show You”, from his upcoming album and it’s the perfect sonic, chill vibe song for your evening.
Kasbo is a Swedish producer who is known for his signature ethereal sound. He combines stunning melodies with cinematic compositions to create music that will make you want to dance and cry. He has played at a number of festivals, like Firefly, Life is Beautiful, Coachella, and many others. He has also supported Foreign Family labelmates ODESZA and dynamic duo Big Gigantic.
This latest single is the second he has released from his album, “The Making of Paracosm, which drops on October 23. His first single, “Play Pretend”, was released last month and features a more upbeat, but still sonic, sound. Ourchives provides breathy and soothing vocals.
What is Paracosm, you might ask? It is a “prolonged imaginary world” and we can definitely feel the theme emerging from these two singles.

“Show You” is backed by a slow piano melody with resonating and airy percussions. The vibrating vocals change pitch throughout the track, followed by ethereal vocalizations. It’s intentionally slower than the first single while maintaining uplifting and cheerful elements that are signature to Kasbo’s sound. The layered instrumentals and intricately weaved vocal progressions create a breathily calm song that will soothe your soul.
Both singles allude to a promising album in the future, one that I cannot wait to hear fully through. Until then, “Play Pretend” and “Show You” are both available on all streaming platforms.
