21-year-old indie-pop artist Kaypo from Brisbane, Australia released his new single “Desert Storm” last month. This singer/songwriter is well-rounded as he plays guitar, sings, and produces all his own tracks. “Desert Storm” features an alluring intro with essences of Spanish-style guitar melodies. Kaypo’s voice is comparable to Passenger but paired with a chill, pop-rock backbone. In “Desert Storm” he writes poetic lyrics that paint a picture; here’s a teaser: “staring out with sobered eyes, it’s kind of blurred / where the sunrise meets the skyline, broken earth…”
“Desert Storm” is available now on all streaming platforms. Here is a live performance of the song as well for you to enjoy. Check out his full-length album from 2019 “Welcome to the Human Race.”
