Kamiya Came Here to “SLAY” with His New Album Teaser

You’ll find a delicate balance resembling something between Charlesthefirst soundscapes with Post Malone vocals in “SLAY” by Kamiya. It’s a chill trap cut that serves as the first single to Kamiya’s fortchoming full length album. The production quality is crisp on the lower-end of frequencies, bearing mostly instrumental vibes with faint samples saying “you’ve only got one shot,” until the back half where Kamiya introduces some mumble sing-rap melodies to close out the track. The soundscapes in “SLAY” are almost end-of-the-world eery, so there’s plenty of angst and swagger in here.

SLAY” introduces us to what we can expect from Kamiya’s upcoming project Few Notes, No Torments. Since the release of “SLAY,” Kamiya has released another single titled “Chest On My Scars” and a 3-track EP entitled Dahlias which was co-written by New Jersey artist Menkare. They each showcase different sides of Kamiya’s creative capabilities, so I am super looking forward to hearing what the rest of Few Notes, No Torments will be.

I threw this one in my Nü Qü playlist and in our Emo Trap playlist so it has two homes on our page to listen to it!
