Jungle Dreaming Festival Announces Full Lineup for March 17-20 Event

FIRST YEAR EVENT WILL BE HOSTED AT OCEAN PARK RANCHNEAR JACO, COSTA RICA MARCH 17-20th, 2023

THE 3-DAY EVENT  OFFERS FANS AN AFFORDABLE, INTIMATE WAY TO ATTEND A DESTINATION FESTIVAL IN THE BREATHTAKING ENVIRONMENT OF COSTA RICA

As the music festival industry has boomed over the past decade, its focus on “experience” has steered away from its roots of culture and community. What’s more, the demand has made many of these events too costly to attend.

Introducing Jungle Dreaming Festival (March 17-19, 2023), an intimate new music festival launching near Jacó, Costa Rica. Jungle Dreaming invites all music lovers to gather in the Central American jungle this Spring for a one-of-a-kind showcase of art, talent & nature. Here attendees will be treated to an affordable showcase of artistic diversity and inclusive community that harkens back to the origin of these live music gatherings.

Tickets are $150 plus fees, with onsite camping available for $40. Tickets available at: www.jungledreaming.com/tickets

Jungle Dreaming has shared a stacked new lineup phase headlined by The Glitch Mob, including individual sets by eDIT and Ooah. The Los Angeles-based trio comprising Boreta, edIT, and Ooah formed The Glitch Mob in 2006. Today, The Glitch Mob are some of the most popular beat makers in the world with over 1-million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. This past November, they reminded fans and critics alike that they continue to be among electronic music’s lead innovators with their latest LP, Cntrl Alt Reality.

Additionally, the second wave lineup announcement welcomes grassroots favorite Mystic Grizzly, OG selector Stylust, CloZee’s Odyzey label alumni Orenda and Comisar, and global bass producer, David Starfire, who BBC Radio named “one of the most brilliant world-fusion producers of our time.

Also on the bill are emerging names like producer/designer Meduso as well as instrumentalist/production virtuoso, LuSID, and the one-woman orchestra, Häana.

Launched in December, the phase one lineup was led by renowned tastemaker and producer, An-Ten-Nae, an essential figure on the U.S. west coast electronic scene – from his role as music director for over a decade at the iconic 1015 Folsom in San Francisco, to Creative Director of Portland’s premier new venue The North Warehouse, to his iconic and eclectic electronic music gracing stages across the globe. Joining him will be Josh Teed, a performer and producer who fuses violin and electronic music fresh off the release of his recent album, Recurring Dreams, and a 40+ date Spring tour.

Treavor Moontribe, of Desert Dwellers, is one of the founders of the Los Angeles based “Moontribe Collective” and its legendary full moon desert gatherings. Since 1993, these events have been at the core of Southern California’s underground electronic music scene and are still ongoing to this day. Treavor established himself as one of the top DJs in L.A. through these events and has since traveled the world from Brazil to Japan to Morocco, Portugal, Germany and all over North America. Edekit is a music producer and performer hailing from Nevada City, CA. Edekit’s craft utilizes a carefully selected spectrum of underground West Coast Bass Music, Hip Hop, Experimental/Hybrid Trap, Left-Field Dubstep and Future Bass. It is forward thinking, fresh and always tastefully assembled to send the dance floor into uncharted waters saturated in floor dropping sub frequencies and dimension defying melodic territories.

The festival also features a local Costa Rican crew that includes DJ Felo, Konrad OP8, María Wabe, Selecta Josh, Pulsivo, Mamanacha, Flora + Fauna, Bosque Sound, JLeon, Jawara and the La Aldea familia.

100% of the net profit will be donated to two environmentally focused non-profits in Costa Rica, Asociación ANAI and Jacó Impact with gratitude and respect for their tireless work. The all ages, everyone welcome festival also features youth workshops, activities and performances as well – 16 and under are free entry.

The inaugural Jungle Dreaming Festival will be held at The Park at Ocean Ranch, an unforgettable 850-acre paradise located near Jaco in a private river valley on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The Park offers all kinds of adventures, including a canopy zip line, waterfall rappelling in the heart of the jungle, horseback riding through 3+kms of primary rainforest, extreme canyoning, and ATV exploration.

The 3-night event features two Funktion-One stages of multi-genre music nestled amidst abundant natural beauty. A river flows through the venue, with several swimming holes and a gorgeous waterfall. Expect a weekend packed with performance art, a series of workshops tailored towards further awareness of the natural world, and connection with friends and friends-to-be from all around the globe.
