On December 3 of 2021, American rappers and songwriters Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa have released their new song and accompanying music video, “Pop That Trunk.” This is their first collaboration since “GAH DAMN HIGH” from Juicy J’s most recent album The Hustle Continues, but will certainly not be their last, as the two legendary artists and longtime collaborators and friends will be releasing a joint album in early 2022.

Directed by Gabriel Hart, who has done work with other notable artists such as Gucci Mane, Future, Young Jeezy, and Migos, the narrative-driven video is full of twists as Juicy and Wiz play disciples of the Devil coercing a group on the streets into handing over their souls. The music video has now garnered over 1.3 million views on YouTube, so join the buzz and give the riveting video a watch!

Neither this music video nor this upcoming collaboration album is the first time since the two have worked together. In 2012, Juicy J appeared on Wiz Khalifa’s album, O.N.I.F.C., in tracks like the dynamic “The Plan.” Wiz returned the favor by lending his voice and talents to Juicy J’s “For Everybody,” which was released in 2015. Plus, 2016’s TGOD Mafia: Rude Awakening album is a joint effort by Khalifa, Juice, and American record producer, TM88.
