JOURNEY NEW STUDIO ALBUM FREEDOM DEBUTS AT #1 ON CURRENT ROCK CHART
After almost five decades of rocking the streets, various concert stages and our own personal stories, Journey is still as strong as ever. Through thick and thin, they’ve stood the test of time proving to all of us that they deserve that iconic status given to them. It wasn’t easy but just like every legendary artist, instead of folding they rolled through the punches and reinvented along the way. Living out songs from their discography, that instead of going separate ways they didn’t stop believing and opened their arms to all the possibilities.
Music heroes and rock gods through and through, they’ve blessed us with yet another album that’ll get us off our seats. This time with “Freedom “released July 18th via BMG Records. Which despite being fresh off the digital presses, was already met with glowing responses from fans and the media. To top it all off, its debut garnered at #1 on the Current Rock Chart, #2 Current Digital Album, #2 Digital Albums, #3 Current Album Sales, #3 Album Sales, #3 Internet Albums, and #88 at the Billboard 200. Wowzers! Talk about explosive!
Looking at “Freedom”at a glance, it boasts of 15 tracks packed with a punch that’ll leave us in awe. With a running time or approximately 1 hour and 13 minutes, it paints us a stunning picture of their evolution. A touch of modern rock from the vocals of front man Arnel Pineda, coupled with their signature sound they give us brand new hits to fall in love with such as: “Together We Run”, “Don’t Give Up On Us”, “Still Believe In Love”, “You Got The Best Of Me”, “Live To Love Again”, “The Way We Used To Be”, “Come Away With Me”, “After Glow”, “Let It Rain”, “Holdin On”, “All Day And All Night”, “Don’t Go”, “United We Stand”, “Life Rolls On”, and “Beautiful As You Are”. So, get ready to get swept up your feet, and drift to the clouds when giving this a listen whether on the road or at home.
