Jono Stephenson is currently on a tear with his latest releases and live performances.

For those who aren’t yet familiar with the name, Jono Stephenson is a South African-born electronic music producer and DJ renowned for his emotive blend of melodic house and techno. Influenced by his musically gifted mother, he developed a strong foundation in singing, guitar, and piano from an early age, which later shaped his unique sound.

About Jono Stephenson:

Since launching his career, Jono has achieved significant milestones. His breakout single, “I Can’t Save You,” released in October 2023, surpassed 1.5 million streams within its first year. Overall, his music has garnered over 3.7 million plays globally. He has released tracks on esteemed labels such as Purified Records, Siona Records, and Interstellar, collaborating with artists like Paradoks, Hehnri Bergmann, and Layla Benitez.

The strength of his music releases and his excellence when performing live has led to him getting experiences such as closing out Purified Johannesburg and being included on Purified Miami’s lineup. With multiple tracks over one hundred thousand streams on Spotify, one could say that Jono Stephenson is ready to take the next step in his career. It is clear that this is the year where things truly begin to ramp up for the young artist, and we could not wait any longer to hear from him what is next. We had a great time with him when we got to catch his performance at The Concourse Project, and this time was no different.

We got to catch up with Jono Stephenson in the midst of his increasingly busy 2025 and we talked all things music, life, and upcoming places where you can find him. Most pressingly, he has big shows coming up in New York and in Ibiza. When we spoke with him about being included on shows of this magnitude he said he was nothing more than excited and grateful to be a part of such experiences. We get the feeling that Jono Stephenson is truly pursuing his happiness in his music journey.

Hi! My name is Josh and I have been attending concerts and festivals of all kinds for over a decade. While I can appreciate all music in some capacity, my true passion lies within various subgenres of metal, edm, and kpop. Late fall of 2022 I decided I wanted to be better about documenting some of those experiences. So what better way than to pick up a camera and start capturing some content to share with the world? The journey has been fun thus far, and I can't wait to see what things I will have to share for you as it continues. I hope we cross paths at a show soon!
