JENNY BAKER’S GETS YOU AND YOUR HEARTACHE, “THE DAY YOU’RE GONE” IS HER GIFT TO US

Jenny Baker‘s latest track, “The Day You’re Gone,” is the title track of her debut EP, and it’s a powerful reminder of the pain of heartbreak and the struggle to let go. The song was inspired by a poem she wrote during her senior year at Harvard, where she studied sociology with a focus on feminism and human rights.

This song is for anyone having trouble letting go of a past relationship. Jenny perfectly captions this pain you feel when you have been left and your heart still aches for that one person. It’s hard to accept that it’s over and with this song she just tries to hold on a little more, holding on to this feeling of being loved that in reality has been long gone.

With her soft yet energetic vocals, Jenny carries you through all the feels and takes you back to your own heartbreak but in a melancholic almost serene way.

As an artist and activist, Jenny uses her platform to address important issues and empower her listeners through her honest and transparent lyrics. Her unique pop fusion draws inspiration from icons like Taylor Swift and Julia Michaels, but it’s her own unique lyrical perspective that truly sets her apart.

With three songs already released from her debut EP. Her music is a powerful reminder that even in our most vulnerable moments, we have the strength to move forward and let go. So if you’re struggling with heartbreak or just looking for some honest and empowering pop, be sure to check out “The Day You’re Gone” and the rest of Jenny Baker’s debut EP.
