Interview with Mary Droppinz at Seismic Dance Event 5.0

Mary Droppinz might not have slept between playing an after-party set at EDC Orlando and an opening set at Seismic Dance Event, but she definitely didn’t let that stop her from showing up and bringing the energy for the early festival goers for the final day. Her stage presence was absolutely stellar, which elevated the overall vibes at her set, so it was really exciting to be able to chat with her later that day.

In our interview, we touched on the importance that her family has played in her career – they even showed up to her hometown show in Nebraska to provide her support, which they provide to her regardless of where she is on the road. Further in our interview, we discuss why she loves being a DJ. Her interest in manipulating sound, which led to a reference to the movie Click, starring Adam Sandler, is what keeps her grooving. And her desire to give her audiences a good time is what keeps her energized even with her busy schedule, though she would love to take some time off for a beach getaway.
