IO Music Academy, a prominent music production school based in Los Angeles, has recently unveiled a groundbreaking scholarship opportunity in collaboration with the There Is A Light (TIAL) Foundation. This initiative is dedicated to nurturing the talents of aspiring music producers, offering a total of 20 scholarships amounting to $70,000 in educational value across the Los Angeles and newly announced San Francisco locations.
IO Music Academy is set to broaden its horizons in Spring 2024 with the opening of a second location in San Francisco. This expansion will bring about 10 available spots in each academy – Los Angeles and San Francisco – with scholarship winners in the latter becoming part of the inaugural class at the new location.
Geared towards individuals seeking a comprehensive and industry-focused education in electronic music production, the scholarship welcomes applicants at various proficiency levels, ranging from beginners to seasoned producers. Successful candidates will secure a coveted spot in one of IO’s 6-month music production programs, a package valued at $3,500. Additionally, recipients will benefit from monthly one-on-one mentorship sessions with the experienced team at IO Music Academy. The perks extend to access to state-of-the-art studios and participation in weekly specialized workshops featuring established artists and industry professionals.
From the beginning, IO Music Academy has been committed to offering scholarships and making music production education accessible. Our partnership with There Is A Light marks a significant step in furthering that mission and expanding our already vibrant community of music makers and DJs. Naturally, we’re thrilled to be able to provide such a great opportunity to so many aspiring artists seeking to realize their musical dreams.
