Hip-Hop Artist Artistic Fusuay Releases Dope New Single “5k”

Independent hip-hop artist Artistic Fusuay recently released his single “5K” on March 24th -marking his first official release of 2022. The song was done in collaboration with Larry Gunnz, a fellow rapper and hip-hop artist based out of Atlanta. Gunnz feature on “5K” is his first released project of 2022, following the release of his 2021 album, “The Campaign 2: Pandemic”.

Reminiscent of mainstream artists such as Young Thug and Lil Keed, Artistic Fusuay steps outside of the box with “5K”. The track begins with cool instrumentals and fast paced hi-hats. The kicks placed intermittently throughout the track help solidify the overall vibe of the song. At about 15 minutes in, the first verse is introduced. The flow and lyricism featured in just the first few seconds of the song are absolute heat. The verse perfectly matches the energy of the production, and neither element of the song out-shadowed one another. What interests me the most about the first verse of the song is the musicality behind it. Much like Lil Keed’s style, Artistic Fusuay has great rhythm, flow and tune. Larry Gunnz steps on the track and delivers an ice cold performance at about 40 seconds into the song. He rides the beat flawlessly and makes the perfect pairing to Artistic Fusuay’s musicality. At about 1:40, the beat switches, and the energy of the song picks up again. While the overall vibe of the song remains consistent throughout it’s 2:35 duration, it keeps you entertained and on your toes.
