We had a great time at the Aftershock Festival this year. And it was a privilege to chat with local Bay Area band, Hemorage.

The independent act is rising in the scene after performing over 600 DIY shows from their van across the country. They’ve spent a lot of time and hard work establishing their sound in the metal scene. After growing tired of rejections and gate-keeping from the industry, they decided to run performances at their own pace.

This guerrilla-styled take on performances was one of the main focuses we had during our chat. Not to mention; our festival gear set-up was pretty DIY as well.
