On June 9, the multi-platinum pop artist Halsey released their newest single “So Good.” Produced by Tobias Karlsson and Max Martin, “So Good” is an honest look at the sometimes circuitous path that love takes. You can stream “So Good” here , and watch the official music video, directed by Alev Aydin, Halsey’s partner, on YouTube.

What the official music video for “So Good”

“So Good” followed a sold-out Love and Power Tour in Toronto, and Halsey continued the run on June 11 with a headlining performance at Gov Ball on Randalls Island in New York City. It’s safe to say that the genre-bending artist is on a bit of a role, also celebrating this month their hopeless fountain kingdom going 2X Platinum on the fifth anniversary of its release. Halsey’s third album Maniac is also double Platinum; both debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart, as did 2021’s If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. Ah yes, there’s how we get the name of Halsey’s current tour.

The Love and Power Tour will go on into July, ending on the 11th in Canada at the Festival d’été de Québec. For the rest of the tour, Halsey will be joined by supporting acts from The Marías and Abby Roberts. Tickets for the Love and Power Tour are available here.

As an artist, Halsey continues to push the creative boundaries of what is considered popular music these days. The artist also recently  introduced about-face, a multidimensional make-up line made for everyone. Halsey continues to speak up for important causes such as disenfranchised youth, women’s rights, mental health, and the LGBTQ community. You can stream more from Halsey anywhere you listen to music.
