Glassetonbury, Vol. 6: Huxley Sun Takes The Crown

Glassetonbury, Vol. 6 has been a five-week rollercoaster ride, but in the end Huxley Sun was able to defeat Boone, NC indie-rock band Self Help to become our newest Glassetonbury champion.

Huxley Sun — the project of Argentinian multi-instrumentalist Federico Carpi currently based in Warsaw, Poland — proved to be a dominant force in every round of the competition. The winning song, “Waves and Walls,” provides an excellent bit of indie-folk that demonstrates the cinematic, elegant musicality of artists like Novo Amor or Bon Iver.

We will update you with more information on our interview with Huxley Sun, as well as Glassetonbury, Vol. 7, within the next week. In the meantime, you can stream “Waves and Walls” on Spotify below.

You can take one last look at the bracket for Glassetonbury, Vol. 6 below. Congratulations to Huxley Sun!
