Here are our daily picks for you featuring Cemetery Skyline, Clara Joy, Wryn and more!

1. “Heritage Listed” – Mikayla Pasterfield

Starting off strong is “Heritage Listed,” a nostalgic single by Australian singer-songwriter Mikayla Pasterfield. Amidst soaring vocals and uplifting acoustic lines, the track highlights the reality of leaving a beloved hometown for new opportunities. “So when I go and move away / And I find all the things I’ve chased / When I start feeling out of place / I know I’ll come back to stay,” she sings. If you’re looking for that extra push out of your comfort zone, or simply missing home a little extra, this track is for you.

2. “I Drove All Night” – Cemetery Skyline

Rock band Cemetery Skyline have released “I Drove All Night,” a riveting rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s 1989 hit. With passion-infused lyrics of manically driving all night to meet a lover, the cover features driving percussion hits, electrifying guitar riffs and 80’s-esque keys. Looking for a new soundtrack for tonight’s late night drive? You won’t want to miss out on this gothic new track. Looking ahead, check out a Cemetery Skyline performance at a venue near you! Ticket information can be found here.

3. “ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM” – Tommy Richman

Up next is Tommy Richman‘s “ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM,” an introspective track composed of atmospheric synths and layered vocals. With lyrics like, “I’m back on my own / Don’t know where to go / Which one can I choose again? / ‘Cause I don’t wanna lose a friend,” the track showcases the complexity of a fragile relationship. Listen to the new release on Richman’s debut album, COYOTE, out today.

4. “Breakdown” – Clara Joy

In an intimate blend of honest songwriting, tender vocals and warm acoustic lines, New York City-based singer-songwriter Clara Joy shares “Breakdown.” The song opens with introspective spoken word, asking listeners to reflect on childhood experiences. “When was the last time you truly felt exhilarated and free?” Joy probes. If this question strikes a chord and you find yourself longing to take “a break from the breakdown,” stay tuned for her highly anticipated LP, What We Have Now.

5. “Only Thing” – Wryn

Closing out today’s selection is “Only Thing,” the latest indie-folk release by Californian songwriter Wryn. Intertwining subtle basslines with vulnerable lyrics and dreamy vocals, the song captures the terrifying, inevitable nature of change. The accompanying music video finds Wryn taking and letting go of a variety of objects, resembling life’s constant evolution. If you find yourself afraid of what the future holds, give this song a listen today.

From indie, folk and rock, today’s five songs shed light on some of the most human experiences. Give them a listen today, and add a track or two to your April playlist!
