Here are our daily picks for you featuring Johan Lenox, Peach Luffe, Miya Folick and more!

1. “Fist” – Miya Folick

In a cathartic blend of angsty, introspective story-telling and unleashed rage, “Fist” by Los Angeles songwriter Miya Folick illustrates the reality of living with past trauma. “I punch myself in the face with my own little fist,” Folick sings, her soft voice weaving between growing percussion lines and soaring guitar riffs. Looking ahead, “Fist” can be found on Folick’s third forthcoming album, Erotica Veronica, out Feb. 28, 2025 via Nettwerk. She will then embark on a U.S. tour in support of the new album. Check out ticket information here today!

2. “When Morning Comes” – Johan Lenox

Massachusetts-born singer, composer and producer Johan Lenox shares “When Morning Comes,” a powerful single that addresses the urgency of climate change and the need for action. Dystopian and apocalyptic, the track’s official music video shows Lenox navigating a deserted world. Cinematic strings, somber piano chords and resonant vocals further exemplify Earth’s fragile reality. With its haunting atmosphere, “When Morning Comes” urges listeners to reflect on our impending future.

3. “What’s On Your Mind” – Peach Luffe

Next up is “What’s On Your Mind,” the latest dreamy, lo-fi pop hit by K-indie artist Peach Luffe. Built upon an earworm-worthy ascending motif, the track’s instrumentation features simple guitar riffs and laid-back percussion beats. “Don’t you wanna say what’s on your mind / Don’t keep it all inside / You can say whatever you like,” Peach Luffe sings, his words capturing the confusion of trying to understand the feelings of another. Listen to “What’s On Your Mind” today alongside his newest EP release, “Back To Me.”

4. “Call It A Draw” – Uwade

Nigeria-born artist Uwade has released “Call It A Draw,” a simultaneously restless and freeing narrative wrapped in playful indie instrumentation. The accompanying music video finds the singer-songwriter dancing through rooms, complementing the track’s liberating nature. Looking ahead, Uwade will release her debut album, Florilegium, on April 25, 2025. Keep your eyes open for a performance across April and May at a venue near you!

5. “Pavement” – Mallrat

Closing out today’s selection is “Pavement,” a mesmerizing indie-electronic single by Australian singer and rapper Mallrat. Musically, the new release is made up of subtle synths, underlying grooves and Mallrat’s ethereal vocals. “It’s exciting to be able to imagine sounds in new ways, even if it’s just sampling my own voice,” she shares. “It builds a story and injects vivid characters into the song; it feels more from my heart.” Check out “Pavement” today on Mallrat’s latest LP, Light hit my face like a straight right.

And with that, another GFDailyMusic comes to a close. You won’t want to miss out on these introspective hits, so give them a listen today!
