Here are our daily picks for you featuring Kim Deal, Gwen Stefani, Malkalm and more!

1. “Stallin (Fall in Love)” – MALKALM

Jump starting our week is “Stallin (Fall in Love),” a soulful single by rising R&B artist MALKALM. The new release marks the first single off his upcoming 2025 EP. It is filled to the brim with driving, syncopated percussive hits, expressive vocals, and rich harmonies. Further, the accompanying music video finds MALKALM trying to impress women with his dynamic dance choreography, paying homage to the diverse performances that embody R&B culture. “For me, performance is everything,” MALKALM says. “R&B isn’t just about what you hear—it’s about what you feel. And I want people to feel the energy, the movement, the emotion in every step and note.”

2. “Pandora” – SOLAK

Switching gears is “Pandora” by Belgian-based songwriter and producer SOLAK. Capping at six minutes and 11 seconds, the beginning features raw vocals set atop a layer of intimate acoustic guitar. “Oh, come over to me, and let us be friends again,” SOLAK sings. As the song progresses, a rich tapestry of soft electric guitar riffs, light drum beats and warm synths are woven together to create an emotional, introspective sort of ambience. “Pandora” is the closing track for SOLAK’s second and most recent 8-song album, Atlas. Stream “Pandora” and check out the other songs on Atlas today.

3. “Nobody Loves You More” – Kim Deal

American musician Kim Deal has released her latest single, “Nobody Loves You More,” a song that combines the romantic aura of a bossa nova love song with big band brass and lush, cinematic strings. “One look at you / I forget why I’m standing here,” Deal’s heartfelt vocals sing. The official music video, directed by Alex Da Corte, finds the Ohio-born artist sitting atop an abstract, Bas Jan Ader-inspired boat in the middle of the ocean. “Nobody Loves You More” can be found on Deal’s newest album of the same name, which takes inspiration from the past thirteen years of her musical career and personal life. Looking ahead, she will embark on a headline tour beginning March 2025, traveling to cities across America and beyond. Find ticket information here.

4. “Somebody Else’s” – Gwen Stefani

“Somebody Else’s” by American singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani is a resilient pop rock anthem about pursuing personal growth and happiness despite prior hardships. Lyrics like “You’re somebody else’s and it doesn’t even break my heart / You’re somebody else’s and I pray for them, whoever they are,” highlight the theme of finding closure within a former, toxic relationship. Instrumentally, the new track remains upbeat with steady drumbeats and clean guitar riffs all while capturing the lyricism’s emotional intensity. “Somebody Else’s” can be found on Stefani’s newest studio album, Bouquet, a 10-track collection of songs that embody the stories of her past, present and future.

5. “Hey” – Adam Ten, Bontan

Last but not least is “Hey,” a funky, fresh hit by house music legends Adam Ten and Bontan. The new single is built upon an Afro-inspired foundation of spicy hand drums and shakers, with a recurring “hey” hook keeping the groove alive. Syncopated rhythms and subtle basslines are intertwined to create diverse layers of sound that are sure to hypnotize listeners on the dance floor. Although both artists call separate parts of the world home (Adam Ten hailing from Tel Aviv, with Bontan coming from Liverpool), the two artists have combined their synth talents to create a fire-infused Afrobeat sensation. “I met Adam in Miami when we played Space the same night,” says Bontan. “After hearing him live, I felt like a fusion of our sounds would make something special.”

With only two more days left in the year, there’s a lot to reflect back on. But there is also a lot to look forward to! End it all off on a high note by checking out these new releases today.
