Here are our daily picks for you featuring JAZMYNE, Pyrex, Sam Barber and more!

1. “Met Gala” – Pyrex

“Met Gala” by GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum producer and songwriter Pyrex is a textured soundscape of hip-hop, trap and grit. With hard-hitting lyricism revolving around themes of wealth and success, Pyrex’s rhythmic vocal flow drives the piece forward. Heavy basslines and melodic synths further contribute to the song’s captivating nature. “Met Gala” can be found on Pyrex’s latest album, Sincerely, Rex, a 15-track mixtape of songs that allow the Baltimore-native to experiment with bold colors and brash sounds. Garnering over 20,000 Spotify streams already, listen to “Met Gala” and the rest of Sincerely, Rex today!

2. “Follow Me Back Home” – Danny Olson, Awakened, Casey Cook

Up next is “Follow Me Back Home,” an emotional, homecoming piece by Danny Olson, Awakened and Casey Cook. The track begins with a piano-driven intro, offering listeners a glimpse into the lush landscape the narrator seems to be referring to. The depth and expressiveness of Cook’s resonant voice bring a unique sense of clarity, with rising synth waves and lavish orchestral strings adding onto the track’s vivid illustration. This “cinematic bass” feel can be attributed to Olson, who is known for his work with HBO, Netflix, the NBA, Mercedes-Benz and other global brands. If you love sentimental lyricism and layers upon layers of percussive basslines and subtle harmonies, “Follow Me Back Home” is the song for you.

3. “PSYCHO” – JAZMYNE

Brimming with sky-high vocals, sleek instrumentation and addictive lyricism, JAZMYNE‘s “PSYCHO” is a pop banger that will have listeners pressing repeat. “PSYCHO was written about a past fling turned bad and how gaslighting and manipulation had me doubting myself and questioning my own sanity,” says JAZMYNE. “Writing ‘PSYCHO’ became my therapy, helping me process everything and let go for good.” The new single plays on dynamics, with intense undertones balancing with climactic choruses to reflect the tug-and-pull of an abusive relationship. For the Swedish-born London-based musician, “PSYCHO” is the second addition to their discography following her September “YUM YUM” release. Stay on the lookout for this uprising pop and R&B artist!

4. “The Reaping” – DELAIN

Netherlands-based alternative metal band DELAIN has come out with their latest rock sensation, “The Reaping.” Found on their newest EP, Dance with the Devil, this track brings heat to the electronic metal scene with layers of raging synths, resonant vocals and ruthless percussion hits. “‘The Reaping’ is a very expressive song with a serious subject – where the world/society is heading and metaphorical storms on the horizon,” says Martijn Westerholt, the band’s founder and main songwriter. Looking towards 2025, DELAIN will embark on their tour across America. More ticket information can be found here.

5. “Better Year” – Sam Barber

“Better Year” by 21-year-old PLATINUM-certified artist Sam Barber is a soulful, acoustic track about personal rediscovery and facing the fears that hold you back. Raised on a small farm in Missouri, Barber’s authentic folk sound is intertwined with the roots of his hometown. The accompanying video depicts a live performance of “Better Year” in a grassy, sunlight-drenched field. These elements, combined with intimate instrumentations and subtle harmonies, evoke a sense of hope for the future. Barber has just released his 28-track debut album, Restless Mind, and will be traveling across the globe on his RESTLESS MIND WORLD TOUR 2025. Dates and ticket information can be found here.

Although spanning a range of different genres, today’s five tracks bring a taste of introspection to the front stage. Take some time to look at these lyrics and embrace the songwriting of these diverse artists!
