sleepingmakeswaves has come back in nearly 4 years with their new lead single, “Super Realm Park.” The track immediately bursts into a booming instrumental to get you pumped up for your day ahead. The masterful blend of strings and downbeats gives sparks of psychedelic rock, making it hard to not start headbanging. Halfway through, the song completely switches momentarily for an ethereal buzz to an electric flow, showcasing the band’s ability to adapt at the drop of a hat.

5. “IF IT DOESN’T HURT”- NOTHING MORE

“IF IT DOESN’T HURT” evokes soul-stirring with their haunting lyrics and poignant delivery. NOTHING MORE details a failed love with a backstabbing partner, describing the feeling as having a knife in the back. The band invites vulnerability for those who can relate to the feeling, making the thrum of the rhythm feel like a heartbeat.
