TheFrenchKris just dropped his single “Distrait” featured on his new album Nos Rêves Bizarres. The song is full on energy and French rap. A catchy beat the moment you hit play with vocal elements that resemble the popular Nightcore sound. It is fast uptempo and strongly addicting to listen to. Sure, I don’t speak French but I definitely feel the energy and heat coming from TheFrenchKris when he comes in for the rap verses. The nightcore element lyrics talk about the change in someone’s voice, giving the insight of a relationship that just isn’t working anymore. Putting in effort for a relationship but the connection is no longer there. I think having the element of English and French just really sets the song apart from others in this genre. It is a nice touch to fuse both styles together and shows diversity in TheFrenchKris’ sound. A well executed fun song to add to the playlist!
