Live in Dublin, Ireland-based band Flogging Molly showcased their talents in a global streaming event with Bushmills Irish Whiskey.
Introducing us to the stream, a beautifully curated advertisement promoting the whiskey was unveiled. Then before we knew it, we were plunged into the experience of the live show. The livestream was recorded in compliance with COVID-19 protocol and government regulations, all while shining a light of hope in the music industry through their playing. The first song was played out in a bar scene, roping the audience into a performance of foot-tapping glory and sound that’ll make the Irish soul sing out and dance. Upon the table were shot glasses and a bottle of whiskey laid out for all to see.
“Drinking in the daytime,” Dave King (guitar, vocals), muttered as he took a sip. After wetting his lips, he opened his mouth and sang out a short drinking tune. The next track showcased Bridget Regan on a well-loved violin as she strummed to her heart’s content and the other members of the band tapped their toes upon the wooden floor.
The performance was then transferred to the pub’s stage, where the full band began playing their original tracks. Quick in tempo, the next track introduced rock elements with electronic guitar and a full drum kit, without abandoning the traditional Irish style. Every track Flogging Molly performed was crisp in execution and filled with a mood-booster of wonderfully rhythmical beats.
The livestream event is available to watch until March 21st. Tickets are still available here. Don’t miss out!
