Post-hardcore band from Salt Lake City, Eidola, is back with their next album on the cusp of releasing. Formed in 2011, the band currently consists of lead vocalist Andrew Wells, lead guitarist Sergio Medina, bass guitarist James Johnson, rhythm guitarist and vocalist Matthew Dommer, and drummer Matthew Hansen. They released their debut studio album, The Great Glass Elephant, in 2012, before signing to Blue Swan Records. The band released their second and third albums, Degeneraterra, in 2015, and To Speak, To Listen, in 2017.
In 2021, their label Blue Swan Records signed a publishing contract with Rise Records. The band released the single “Counterfeit Shrines” in June 2021, their first new song in over four years, and are scheduled to release their fourth studio album, The Architect this September.
