If you’re based in or near Nashville, Deep Tropics is the end-of-summer music festival you will not want to miss! 2 days full of trip-hop electronic style artists from all over the world. The unique artists on this lineup alongside the beachy, tropical vibes will be sure to inspire the creativity and individuality in us all throughout the weekend.

This fun, tropical-themed festival hosted at the Bicentennial Mall partnered with Greenways for Nashville to ensure a safe space for our Earth by supporting a goal of a Zero-Waste Fest! Recycling, compost, and pocket ashtrays will sure get our minds right on a mission of love, and the music will do the rest. Purchase your tickets here.

Deep Tropics is providing a stacked electronic lineup with artists from all over the world and influences from a wide variety of music styles. Bonobo, a UK-based musician and producer, has mastered his unique house/trip hop style with jazz and world music influences. If you haven’t had a chance to hear Bonobo, this will be an awesome opportunity. His performances with a live band, which he did previously on his Migration album tour, are magical experiences, but the DJ set he’ll be throwing down for DT will be dope for sure.

We can expect high-energy electronic dance sets from Australian producer What So Not, British producer Troy Boi, Norweigan musician and producer Cashmere Cat, and some big female energy from American producer Mija.

Our very own Alexandra and Sam from Glasse had the opportunity to chat with What So Not at Bonnaroo last summer! Check out the video here to learn all about this brilliant producer’s styles and mindset going into recording and touring.

There are a few noteworthy local artists on the lineup as well. Make sure to check out Nashville-native ESCPE at the Waveclub Sound System [basically a big outdoor pool party] for some sexy and ambient bass sounds. ESCPE recently recorded a track with our favorite female DJ from France, CloZee — check out Rain Dance and cry about it in the shower before hearing it live at Deep Tropics.

Deep Tropics is also going full-send on official pre-parties and after-parties. You can grab your tickets for the pre-parties with Earthgang [Atlanta] and Dr. Fresch [Los Angeles], after party with Keys N Krates [Canada] and Hex Cougar [Los Angeles], as well as normal admission, here. 2-day plus passes are already 80% sold out, so make sure to grab your tickets ASAP! We are 2 weeks out ‘til the party begins!

Come get your groove on and your mind right as we await the final two weeks before Deep Tropics Music, Art, & Style Fest in Nashville, TN August 24/25! Here is your inclusive DT lineup playlist with some newbies and oldies alike. Enjoy 🙂
