Nostalgia remains a consistent theme in many modern-day songs thanks to its relatability as a shared feeling, even through different experiences. Germany-based singer-songwriter, Daniel Page, relays the importance of it in his own life – and nothing says “important” like naming the title track of your first-ever EP after that theme.
“Nostalgia” is what you could imagine it would be. It centers on memories of a past relationship, feelings of being heartbroken, and feelings of being thankful for the memories that were made. The distant tones of the vocals and instrumentals add to the nostalgia factor, creating an atmosphere that is reminiscent of what would be appropriate for a slow dance with a loved one.
