Dance Gavin Dance Debut #8 On Billboard Top 200 With New Album ‘Jackpot Juicer’
To dance is to express oneself through a series of movements. A sign that we are truly alive and kicking, not just a zombie walking this planet. Apart from being an indicator of life, it’s always been a part of our shared history. It’s a bind that keeps us all together, it’s that relatable cord that we all hang on to when we’re at our happiest or just want to impress others. Pretty much like dancing itself, the group Dance Gavin Dance has been a long-time part of the music industry. Circa 2005, this American rock band from Sacramento California brought us memorable tunes such as “Awkward”, “Tree Village”, “Nothing Shameful”, “Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most” and so much more. Now that it’s 2022, they’re still rocking our socks off, this time with their new album entitled “Jackpot Juicer”. As the title suggests, it’s a colorful look at gambling life and the elements found in casinos such as the iconic slot machine. But if you look closer, it’s also a personification of the human condition and how we risk things to get what we want.
Released last July 29th, it boasts of 18 action packed hits such as: “Untitled 2”, “Cream Of The Crop”, “Synergy (Feat. Whew! That’s a mouthful for sure, and rightfully so because they’ve always been a well-oiled rock machine.
