The Collective and the Columbia Tower Club present the End of Summer Block Party; a celebration of the Pacific North West community and the diversity within. In this one-of-a-kind event, Presented by the Columbia Tower Club IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action) Committee, attendees gain access to an exclusive concert and Livestream experience, featuring a performance by DJ Lance Cadence, and headliner singer-songwriter, & producer Mia LJ!

“The Columbia Tower Club is an inclusive exclusive community where our Members gather to celebrate, network, grow, and connect. This event is truly a celebration of our community and the diversity within. At the End of Summer Block Party, not only will you experience Executive Chef Riccardo’s best BBQ cuisine, but you also have the opportunity to connect with our Members and enjoy amazing music from Mia LJ & DJ Lace Cadence as they blend their diverse skillsets and talents to provide a unique and exciting set for those in attendance. We also love to partner with hyper-local companies in Seattle like Shugs Soda Fountain, which supports all this event stands for.
The IDEA Committee presenting the block party–standing for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action–has helped curate an experience that embraces our cultural diversity and emphasizes how we celebrate together. MIA LJ
23-year-old, New York Based, Mia LJ answered her calling via the universal language of music at five years old. As one of New York’s rising stars of women in music, she specializes as a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer, and engineer. Mia unifies the soul-infused, indie rock, conscious pop genres, taking each listener through a journey of an all-embracing sonic experience.
LACE CADENCE
Lace Cadence, founder of Trophouse Thursdays at Seattle’s Sugar Hill, featured DJ and collaborator with Palmwine Experience and Champagne, grew up in the Central District, where he was introduced to the Seattle music scene. Known for his signature blend of afrobeat, dancehall, rap, and R&B, Lace Cadence has found his passion for amplifying music from the African continent across the diaspora. As one-third of the electronic R&B outfit, The Flavr Blue, he has performed across the country and internationally, including Dakar, Tokyo, and Stockholm.
