CONNOR MORRISON FINDS STRENGTH IN NEW SINGLE “JUST A DAY”
Piano rocker Connor Morrison released “Just A Day” on the best day in February (the 4th aka my birthday). Anyway, “Just A Day” is an indie pop rock track that Connor wrote about finding strength to push through and become a greater version of yourself. However, when trying to stay strong life happens and reality sets in.
“I wrote Just a Day during a period of my life where I was truly unhappy with who I was and where I was. I lived in a desert, literally and figuratively, and it felt as though I would never break out. I felt like I could see some of my childhood dreams and ambitions fading into the day-to-day that would draw me to abandon them. My ‘maybes’ were becoming ‘nevers.’ I needed a rock song to pull me out, and Just a Day is what did it.”

“Just A Day” really captures Connor’s feelings and emulates the message very clearly. Life is life and he’s taken it day by day. The track is backed by drums, raspy passionate vocals with dreamy guitar notes. A song that will really resonate with many but still keeping it lighthearted and powerful. Not every day can be rainbows and butterflies. “Just A Day” is all about appreciating where you are now, knowing that it is tough but never giving up on becoming bigger and better.
