CHIP & THE CHARGE UPS ARE “PAYING BACK THE DEVIL” IN NEW SINGLE

Chip & The Charge Ups are sticking it to the man or in this case the devil in their brand new single. This track is to resonate with anyone who has ever felt beaten down by life, society, people even our very own brains. “Paying Back The Devil” elevates a new sound for the band with aggression and passion. Finally releasing those unhealthy negative feelings to get back on our feet. Get rid of the toxins and let in the light. It is not an easy task by any means, but Chip & The Charge Ups processes the feelings in a safe space coming back stronger than before. Even though it is meant to be a song full of anger, it doesn’t come across over the top. It is the perfect mix of rock and roll with vocals that are filled with thrilling emotion. The guitar, the drums, the progression of intensity as the track plays out was executed in such a great way. I don’t listen to music like this often, but when I pressed play I instantly thought, “wow, I fuck with this.” It just gives the reminder that life isn’t easy but to not let it hold you back. Look the assholes in the eyes and never back down.

“We’ve all felt beaten at some point. By people. Society. Life. Even our own minds. No matter which of those “devils” has beaten us down, we can channel our rage and bounce back, sticking it to the devil that has stuck it to us. “Paying Back the Devil” is an anthem of anger, aggression, and getting back on our feet, no matter what – or who – has knocked us off of them.”
