One week after teasing a companion piece to her 2022 album The Loneliest Time, Grammy-nominated pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen has officially announced the July 28 release of her new album, The Loveliest Time.

The album is the third in a series of beloved fan-favorite B-side albums and will feature 12 new songs, including her latest single “Shy Boy.”

About her new album, the singer shared:

“I got to know loneliness and discover the beauty in it. The loneliest time taught me that growth comes from being planted in darkness. But now the world has opened itself back up again and in turn so have we. It’s time for celebration and for all the lessons we have learned to burst into joyful action.”

The result of reworking songs and working with all-star collaborators including John Hill, Patrik Berger, Rostam Batmanglij and Kyle Shearer, Jepsen’s new album expands upon the multi-layered soundscapes she created in previous years. And, like her other B-side albums, The Loveliest Time gives us an in-depth look into her creative process—it’s wild, free, and boasts the most introspective and effervescent work of Jepsen’s career.
