After a hiatus around the world cancelled shows as we know it, music is coming back with a new fire in its being. Influential Icelandic artist, Björk, will be arriving in California for five nights of legendary performances of the critically-acclaimed “Cornucopia” production.

Tickets will be going live on October 15th for the exclusive run through the state- January 26th, 29th, and February 1st at the Shrine Auditorium at Los Angeles; and February 5th and 8th at the Chase Center in San Francisco. These are her only shows currently scheduled in the U.S, which will make for a unique opportunity for fans who have been anticipating the show for some time now.

The “Cornucopia” production was produced with an award-winning team of digital and theatrical collaborators and based off her 2017 album Utopia, according to a news release; and directed by Argentine filmmaker, Lucrecia Martel, and Björk, with co-creative director James Merry. It made its world premiere at the Shed in New York in 2019, and originally featured the seven-piece female Icelandic flute ensemble who appeared on the album. The last time that fans of the Bay Area had the pleasure to witness Björk in her glory was in 2013, at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond. She performed three nights at the venue as part of her Biophilia Tour. She performed more recently in Los Angeles, having taken the stage at the FYF Fest in 2017.
