UK rap artist Benny Banks had taken a hiatus from music, but 2020 seemed the optimal time for him to resurface on the scene. “Eye For An Eye” is a refreshing conscious hip-hop tune, set over an emotive, bedroom beat with powerful lyrics that discuss honest and vulnerable realities and thought patterns. My favorite line: “For you to change the world, you need to change yourself / Before you pray for wealth, you need to pray for health.”
