Being a Light for Others in Curtis Walsh’s “Midnight”

“Midnight” is the brand new single from Curtis Walsh following his last release titled “Almost the Same.” Walsh is an up and coming artist that has amassed over 15 million streams across multiple streaming services worldwide.

Championed by outlets such as CLASH, KOALA and numerous other tastemakers, Walsh has taken the time to ensure his name is stapled in the industry. At just 20 years old, his first number of singles have been added to several thousand playlists, and have been supported by the likes of BBC Radio 2, Amazing Radio in the UK, and other radios located in Ireland and other European countries. “Midnight” follows the success of a recent sold out tour of the UK with New Rules, and promises the fact that Walsh has much more in store for the upcoming future.

“Midnight” can be experienced by audiences for the first time ever on Spotify, Soundcloud and YouTube:

Opening with soft twinkles and a gentle piano, the track speaks on the experiences of spiraling out of control, and being a light for those who are struggling more than others. Midnight on the clock has the potential to mean anything, and here, it highlights how the hour can be the introduction to a night of unbearable loneliness. Instead of focusing on this loneliness, however, Walsh gives advice on the ways to make this hour more tolerable. After all, the sun will always rise in the morning.
