Hailing from Australia, KOLIDESCOPES have been putting their own unique spin on deep house with a focus on pop collaborations and soulful melodies. Last year they exploded onto the scene with their production and writing credits on Joel Corry’s “Head & Heart (Feat. MNEK)” which spent six weeks atop the UK singles charts as well as in the U.S peaking at #3 on Billboard’s “Hot Dance/Electronic Songs” chart. Coming from a rich history of similar Australian electronic artists like Flight Facilities, Flume, Golden Features, and Peking Duk, KOLIDESCOPES find themselves similarly weaving pop and a familiar relaxed, summery energy to their music.

Gavin James meanwhile for sure has his fair share of chart topping credentials as well. From tracks like “Tired” and “Always”, the Irish singer has exploded in the last few years with a staggering 22 platinum albums in 8 different countries. Along with touring with mega pop icons like Niall Horan, Sam Smith, and Ed Sheeran, James is also no stranger to the electronic scene with remixes from the likes of Kygo and Alan Walker.

KOLIDESCOPES and Gavin James have been longtime friends and this collaboration seemed to have been destined to happen eventually. According to them, this collaboration came about equally as natural as their friendship in a spur of the moment writing session. Featuring acoustic guitar samples, smooth vocal harmonies, and a punchy low end, this track is a perfect combination of bouncy deep house and James’ crisp vocals. Reminiscent of a warmer, carefree vibe, the collaboration between these artists definitely reflect their friendship and style of production.
