Arizona Announce Release Party for Upcoming Single “Moving On”
Arizona released their latest single, “Moving On” on February 8th. This is the band’s first release of the year. The release marks the band signing a deal with record label Fueled By Ramen! Since their formation in 2015, Arizona have gained immense critical and commercial success- amassing over a billion streams on Spotify. They have played at major festivals such as Coachella, Governor’s Ball and Lollapalooza. They have been praised by outlets such as Forbes and Billboard, with Billboard proclaiming them as crowd favorites.
At the start of the music video, Arizona dedicates the song to misfits and people who are currently struggling with figuring out life. The song talks about the various moods a person goes through in life- happiness and sadness combined. Times where we want to dance, other times we want to cry. Throughout the song, the band urges us to move forward and no matter how hard it gets, to keep moving on. The song’s instrumental features a bouncy instrumental filled with silky synths that play over the band’s vocals.
The music video sees Arizona play in a desert. The visuals are fairly minimalistic until night sets in, whereafter it bursts with bright multicolored lights. The camera records the three-piece band singing, while a disco ball slowly appears overhead over them as night approaches.

Arizona combines elements of dance, pop and electronic in their music. Despite being named Arizona, the pop and electro-pop dance band are actually from New Jersey. Further still, the band members met each in Boston when they were attending Berklee College of Music and Emerson College. In their time together as a band, Arizona have released two studio albums and one live album and have gone on tour with acts such as Panic! at the Disco. “Moving On” will be the band’s first release in 2022.
To celebrate the release of the single, Arizona threw a release party on Wednesday, Feb.8 at Pretty Ricky’s bar in New York City. Located on the Lower East Side, Pretty Ricky’s is a popular neighborhood gathering spot with an electric atmosphere. The party took place from 8pm to 11pm. Other musicians, agents and label executives were said to be present at the party.
