So it’s been decided. Though Attack Attack! isn’t going country anytime soon, their recent release of their full-length album, Attack Attack II has sent them on the road for the ONE HIT WONDER tour. We joined up with them in a former country bar before their performance to chat about it.

But it was the way the band seems to have locked in on their sound again since releasing a series of EPs that caught our attention. Attack Attack II is everything fans craved. It features a chaotic, razor-sharp edge mixed with just the right amount of zaniness yet technical mastery. Read our full review about it here.

In a way, the haters are writing our story. We’re taking what they’re saying, and then we’re turning it into a reality. And it’s really fun…It’s our thing. It’s not your thing. We can do whatever we want, and you’re kinda just egging us on.

After spending years listening to the opinions of others in crafting their sound, they decided enough is enough. They rekindled their passion since back when they were kids rocking out together in the garage. Then they used the fuel from all the keyboard warriors around the internet to curate the sound their true fans have always loved from them the most.
