Anjali Asha is a woman not unbeknown to adversity, and her upcoming EP is a testament to that. Vitals, the first song from her EP to be released in 2022, is a song about many human emotions such as self-doubt and the feeling of being stressed and burnt out. Asha sings about being stuck in your head and needing to come back to earth while searching for one’s purpose. The track has a clear influence from the likes of Kehlani and Ella Mai with the soulful and smooth vocalism from Asha.
Anjali has been musically involved since 9 years old, beginning to write lyrics and sing at this age. However, she was in a horrific accident and was not sure she would be able to sing again. After the accident, Asha was determined to prove doctors wrong and after numerous surgeries made a recovery and is back to singing and writing and is better than ever. Turning a situation inside out in her upcoming EP, Asha’s upcoming project is a story of overcoming adversity.
