An Interview with Sacramento Band, Dwellings

In anticipation of a new album from Sacramento’s post-hardcore outfit, Dwellings, we met with them in their home base to chat about their first performance back since quarantine at Family Daycation, and some concepts that arose in the writing process of their upcoming tracks.

Dwellings began in Modesto, California, where they centralized their sound as a ” Dwellings began in Modesto, California, where they centralized their sound as a “place where time is feels stretched, a place where the rhythms of everyday life go on for ever…” Out from it came infectious riffs, and richly poetic lyrics that send the brain and body dancing along.
