AMEROUX RELEASES NEW SINGLE “TERRIFIED” ADDRESSING MENTAL HEALTH

Alternative-rock band Ameroux released their first single “Terrified” after the release of their debut album of 2021. This new track is full of emotion and personal realizations. It was professionally recored and mastered by genre-defining and sheer genius, Kris Krummet. Ameroux did an amazing job on the lyrics and truly capturing all the feelings faced on a daily basis when feeling down/dealing with the pressures of anxiety. A song showcasing what it is like to go through the emotions of getting yourself out of a rut. With deep lyrics, truly a dissection of the mind carried throughout the beautiful layers of guitar. The high vocals at the three minute thirty mark that goes to end out the song is so raw and sick. It is the perfect amount of in your face and stands out without an overwhelming feeling. “Terrified” keeps you hooked, lingering on every word till the very end. A lot of listeners can connect to this song and if they can’t it’ll definitely give them a better understanding of people who experience this.

“Sometimes the fear of failure can be more terrifying than failure itself. ‘Terrified’ is a song about coping with anxiety and recognizing the deep sadness with letting precious life pass you by.”

Ameroux

Terrified to stand in the light;
The pressure burns too bright
Wish I was someone else
Can’t hold my breath and wait for this
I’m just trying to find what’s next for this

Tend to fold
Whenever it gets a little bit hard
I can’t let go
Life passes my by, I just stare out the window
