We are thrilled to be bringing our extensive catalog of music videos to The Roku Channel. Over the past 8 plus years, Vevo has been working closely with Roku to develop on-demand music video programming, and today, we have extended our partnership into linear. Roku customers love Vevo music videos, and now, we are bringing 11 decades-based and genre-dedicated channels to The Roku Channel for added enjoyment.

Since 2013, Vevo has been in partnership with Roku, delivering cutting-edge music videos to the masses for free. As recently as last December, the music video network announced the launch of Vevo channels on the Roku Channel. Initially including line-ups such as Vevo Pop, Vevo R&B, Vevo Hip Hop, etc., as of February 5th, the addition of Doja Cat was also included.

Music is an important category for The Roku Channel and we’re very excited to partner with Vevo to bring the world’s leading music networks to our users.

Formally named “Doja Cat’s Official Live Performance series,” the series exclusively spanned from February 5th-6th and moved to the rest of the Vevo Network on February 7th. Currently, the collection cannot be found on Roku. However, music videos such as “Kiss Me More”, “Need to Know”, and “Woman” are shown to be under Roku’s “Planet Her” section. Doja Cat’s red-light district-inspired video “Streets” can also be found under the “Doja Cat Live & Official” channel.

Having three songs hit number 25 or higher on the Billboard Hot 100 in the past two years, Doja Cat’s popularity appears to be unstoppable. Often associated with pop, R&B, and hip-hop, the superstar has recently made headway into the rock scene. Debuting a cover of Hole’s “Celebrity Skin,” the track has charted 16 on Billboard’s “Hot Alternative Songs” and has amassed 3 million U.S. Streams as of February 17th. Overall, since coming onto the public’s radar for saying “mooo!” in 2018, it’s incredible to see how far the musician has come.
