Contrary to what the title suggests, we want to be alive for today as we listen to electro-pop trio A R I Z O N A ‘s new single “Die For A Night”

The track explores singer Zachary Charles’ feelings of finding himself overwhelmed by the green eyes and lips of his lover as he is backed by the smooth, light percussions and synths. He cannot help himself and does not care if it will cause him harm in the long run. If you ever been intoxicated by anybody’s beauty, this song was written with you in mind.

Charles shared they wanted to incorporate their storytelling lyrics and love of dance music onto the track:

Die For A Night is one of the tracks we had some of the most fun with on the new album. There’s a little bit of tongue-in-cheek storytelling in the lyrics, and overall the track was just an absolute blast to produce. We have a deep love for dance music and tried to incorporate that a lot on this album where we could in our own way, and this is one of those records.

The single is part of the band’s self-titled album that is expected to be released on May 12 via Fueled By Ramen. Their new album includes tracks like “Moving On” and “Dark Skies” which also explore the group’s love of dance music and infectious synths. Apart from their album, A R I Z O N A will be on tour this summer as supporting artists for Quinn XCII, as well as joining Julia Wolf.

A R I Z O N A was formed by the efforts of guitarist Nathan Esquite, keyboardist David Labuguen, and vocalist Zachary Charles. Despite the distinct backgrounds, the three of them managed to create a mixture of dance and alternative pop with dynamic lyrics. Their 2017 debut album, GALLERY was positively received. the group collaborated with the late musician Avicii on his posthumous album TIM. The trio also supported Panic! At The Disco on its Pray For The Wicked Tour in 2018.
