A bite of papaya by Miynt

With a cactus on the cover, and a retro funk rhythm, while listening to Minynt’s new song all I can recall is the episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender when Sokka is eating cacti in the desert.

Described as “lo-fi psychedelic disco,” the track is lightweight and Miynt’s airy voice creates a unique cross-over of funk, soul, and rock. It’s interesting because it definitely includes modern trends similar to The Weeknd’s latest album After Hours, but has a very 60s/70s feeling. Be sure to check it out.
