Bumbershoot Drops Epic Lineup for 2024

This Labor Day weekend, Seattle’s iconic Bumbershoot Festival returns to the Seattle Center. It’s the perfect weekend of music, art, and culture. Bumbershoot is one of the longest-running independent festivals, and this year is their 51st year running.

Bumbershoot’s lineup is nothing short of spectacular. Saturday, August 31st kicks off with indie-rock legends Pavement, hip-hop icons Cypress Hill, and pop rockers Aly & AJ. Each act brings its unique flavor to the festival, promising a day filled with diverse musical experiences.

The diversity continues into Sunday, September 1st with electronic singer-songwriter James Blake, and the energetic Marc Rebillet. Shaking things up is indie rock artist, Courtney Barnett who will be bringing her distinctive guitar style to the festival.

Alongside these incredible headliners, the festival features a wide range of artists that bring a mix of everything. UK house and techno hero Carl Cox will keep the dance floor buzzing. Electronic party starts Ladytron and Lauren Mayberry from CHVRCHES will add a modern synth edge to the lineup. One act not to miss is Lol Tolhurst X Budgie, a new duo bringing a fresh sound after branching out from their former bands.

What makes Bumbershoot so special goes beyond the music, but the overall experience. The festival puts on an impressive art lineup as well. A spread of visual arts, performances, and installations is spread across the campus. Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere full of creative expression and artistic innovation. Bumbershoot is all about celebrating creativity in all its forms.

Foodies will be excited with the diverse offerings available throughout the festival grounds. From traditional festival fare to a variety of vegan and vegetarian options, there’s something for everyone. The food vendors at Bumbershoot are known for their high-quality offerings. Who doesn’t love options? You’ll find plenty of choices to keep you satisfied, whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal.

Tickets for Bumbershoot are on sale now. General admission starts at $150 plus fees, with payment plans available to make attending more accessible. Deluxe GA is available for $350 plus fees. Deluxe grants attendees with additional perks such as parking, and a private entrance. Good news for families, kids under 10 can attend for free! But, your littles will require a ticket for entry. This makes Bumbershoot an excellent choice for a family outing.
