Outside Lands Creates Iconic LGBTQ+ Dance Space

Everyone’s favorite San Francisco festival just got even better. Outside Lands is one of the most popular summer events in the area, with three days of music, food, and drinks galore. For the first time, the festival created a new dance music space that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community: Dolores’.

The new area pays tribute to the Bay Area queer and trans communities in an inclusive, prideful open-air dance space. Festival goers can find Dolores’ by heading to the grounds’ Polo Field. Dolores’ matches the vibes of the area’s rich history. You name it, Dolores’ has it, from DJs to drag performers to artists and more.

Of course, only the most iconic in the local nightlife scene will take the stage. Dolores’ has FAKE and GAY (Friday), OASIS (Saturday), and Hard French (Sunday) on the roster from August 11 through 13.

Since 2018, FAKE and GAY has been a fixture in the Bay Area’s pop-club bookings. It’s known for breaking boundaries and genres, along with bringing only the best talent for quality performances and high-energy experiences.

So excited to have the FAKE and GAY crew with this gaggy lineup at Outside Lands! Let’s party San Francisco 😉

OASIS is also bringing the heat. Established in 2015, OASIS has a solid reputation as a drag nightclub and cabaret. Winning Best of the Bay in categories like “Best Drag Show” and “Best Cabaret Venue” is no easy feat, and OASIS earned it. Its location in an 8,000-square-foot converted gay bathhouse features drag stars from near and far, DJs, live music, and more — making for unforgettable nights.

Dolores’ will be a magical addition to Outside Lands. Celebrating San Francisco’s place as a beacon for the queer community and bringing together the city’s musical and cultural contributions of the past, present and future is a dream. We are thrilled to be part of Dolores’ inaugural outing!

~ D’Arcy Drollinger, OASIS’ owner and artistic director, San Francisco’s first-ever Drag Laureate

Hard French dance floors create a space where trans and queer individuals can be themselves and celebrate their identities. The nightlife institution has been constantly evolving the dance party experiences it provides for the past 13 years.

Hard French can’t wait to ignite the new Dolores’ stage dance floor with our trans and queer family for this momentous event at Outside Lands. It’s a new world baby and we’re ready to dance!

~ Devon Devine, Hard French founder and producer

Tickets are selling fast – 3-day, Friday, and Saturday single-day tickets are already sold out, but it’s not too late to secure some Sunday single-day tickets or Golden Gate Club exclusive experience tickets here
