Rock On With Cairo Knife Fight’s Single “Churn”

In need of some good old rock and roll?

Then give rock duo Cairo Knife Fight’s latest single, “Churn,” a listen. With a solid pulsating beat and great chord progressions, “Churn” will surely get anybody ready to rock. The song begins with haunting vocals singing about how There’s something in the way you’re saying it/ It just doesn’t sound right/ I’m listening to the words you’re choosing/ So carefully blind/ There’s a method in the way you move/ To keep your soul in the dark.” Each phrase is punctuated by a guitar shred, which combines to build up to a payoff in the form of an explosive chorus.

Alongside the single’s release, Cairo Knife Fight dropped the music video for “Churn.” It features lead vocalist Nick Gaffaney and guitarist George Pajon Jr. as they rock out on set, switching between a dark and dramatic setup and a stark white backdrop. At the song’s beginning, the video switches between the two scenes with each powerful strum from George.
