Celebrate the Newest Officially Recognized Holiday with our Juneteenth Jams Playlist!

This Saturday, June 19th, better known as Juneteenth, is a holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. While there is still plenty of work to be done in the fight for equality, at least Juneteenth is finally an officially recognized national federal holiday! We updated our Juneteenth Jams playlist from last year to include a fresh rotation of tracks which speak to the spirit of the holiday. Of course there’s some Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and Chance, The Rapper, mixed in with some classics by Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, Jon Baptiste, and more.

Happy celebrating, friends. We love you!
