Lorde surprised fans with the perfect summer hit paired with a music video to match. Directed by Joel Kefali and Ella Yelich-O’Connor, the ‘Solar Power’ video depicts the pop queen herself dancing on the beach.
It’s been four years since her last release, Melodrama, and the reunion couldn’t be any sweeter. While a release date for the record has yet to be announced, the title track includes familiar collaborators — Jack Antonoff co-writes and co-produces — along with a pair of backing vocalists — Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo — whose careers have taken flight since Lorde released her last album.
