From bass-fueled takeovers in Texas to immersive Sphere residencies and destination festivals in Baja, 2026 is already shaping up to be a landmark year for live music. Here are ten major announcements making waves across electronic, alternative, and pop scenes.

1. Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival – Fort Worth, TX

Shaquille O’Neal’s bass-driven festival property enters its third year on March 21, 2026 at Panther Island Pavilion. As a result, the event continues to solidify its footprint within Texas’ bass music market.

The first two editions drew more than 30,000 attendees. Consequently, expectations for 2026 are significantly higher. This year, the production expands in both scale and infrastructure. The return of the 360-degree “Trenches” stage reinforces the festival’s immersion-first design. Rather than positioning fans in front of the performance, the stage places them inside the architecture. As a result, the pit-centered layout amplifies both intensity and crowd connection.

Performing as DJ Diesel, O’Neal personally curated a lineup featuring Levity B2B Wooli, Jessica Audiffred, GORILLAT, Drinkurwater, CELO B2B Neotek, Big Florida, Whales, Tynan, Dreamtakers and more. Additionally, a special guest headliner will be announced at a later date.

The official announcement takes place November 17 at 12:00 PM CT. Following that, artist presale opens November 20 at 10:00 AM CT. Finally, general on-sale begins November 21 at 10:00 AM CT. Fans can pre-register and purchase tickets at shaqsbassallstars.com.

2. BottleRock Napa Valley – Napa Valley, CA

BottleRock Napa Valley returns May 22–24, 2026 to Napa Valley, marking what organizers call “the first taste of summer.” As a result, the release of the daily lineup has quickly intensified anticipation.

Friday’s headliners include Lorde, Teddy Swims, and Lil Wayne. Meanwhile, additional performances from Papa Roach, Jon Bellion, Chaka Khan, Tash Sultana, Del Water Gap, BØRNS, Men At Work, Natasha Bedingfield, and Rev Run (of Run DMC) round out the day. Together, the bill reflects BottleRock’s signature mix of pop, rock, hip-hop, and legacy acts.

Single-day tickets go on sale January 6 at 10:00 AM PT, while supplies last. Because the festival regularly sells out, early purchase is recommended. Tickets and full details are available at bottlerocknapavalley.com.

3. Chrysalis Festival – Puerto Los Cabos, Mexico

Empire of the Sun step into the destination festival category with Chrysalis, set for May 14–16, 2026 in Baja California.

Unlike a traditional multi-stage event, Chrysalis unfolds as a narrative-driven environment. Specifically, the weekend blends performance, symbolism, and spatial design. As a result, the experience feels cohesive rather than segmented. The lineup includes a DJ set from Disclosure. In addition, performances by The Flaming Lips, Magdalena Bay, DJ Tennis, Sofia Kourtesis, Del Water Gap, and Walker & Royce anchor the bill. Furthermore, Empire of the Sun will deliver three distinct sets across the weekend.

Beyond the music, Chrysalis integrates wellness programming and curated travel packages. Therefore, the festival operates as both a vacation and an immersive artistic retreat. Festival passes and lodging bundles are available now at chrysalisfestival.com.

4. Sublime Me Gusta Festival – Fort Worth, TX

Sublime Me Gusta Festival launches May 9, 2026 at Panther Island Pavilion, marking the debut of a new multi-city reggae and punk-focused series.

Headlined by Sublime with Jakob Nowell, the lineup also includes Slightly Stoopid, Iration, Long Beach Dub Allstars, The Ataris, Codefendants and HR of Bad Brains. At its core, the event celebrates the intersection of reggae, punk, ska and alternative rock. Additionally, the programming draws directly from Sublime’s cross-genre DNA, reinforcing the band’s cultural legacy through live performance and curated stage design.

Beyond the two main stages, the event incorporates local vendors, art installations, and immersive brand activations. Meanwhile, attendees 21 and over can add a $15.99 craft beer sampling experience to their ticket. General Admission begins at $89.99, and tickets are available now at MeGustaFest.com.

5. BeachLife Festival – Redondo Beach, CA

BeachLife Festival returns May 1–3, 2026 to Redondo Beach, California. As a result, it strengthens its position as Southern California’s leading live music, art, and culinary event.

This year’s headliners include Duran Duran, The Offspring, and James Taylor. Notably, the lineup spans multiple generations and genres. Because of that range, BeachLife maintains broad cross-demographic appeal. In addition, artists like The Chainsmokers, My Morning Jacket, Sheryl Crow, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts expand the weekend’s sonic reach. Together, these bookings deepen the festival’s mainstream pull.

Beyond the music, BeachLife invests heavily in hospitality tiers. For example, VIP and Captain packages include curated dining and premium viewing decks. Meanwhile, Industry Sky Deck access offers enhanced amenities. Overall, the tiered structure increases both comfort and exclusivity. Single-day GA begins at $169, while three-day passes start at $409 via beachlifefestival.com.

6. Cyclops Rocks – Morrison, CO

Subtronics will host the sixth and final Cyclops Rocks April 23–24, 2026 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. As a result, the two-night run closes a major chapter in his touring history.

Since its inception, Cyclops Rocks has consistently sold out. Consequently, it has strengthened Subtronics’ Denver market presence. This year, the shows align with the FIBONACCI North American Tour. In turn, the Red Rocks dates expand the album’s conceptual framework into a large-scale live production. Ultimately, the finale reinforces the residency’s long-term impact

Presale begins January 15 at 10:00 AM MT. Afterward, tickets for all FIBONACCI Tour dates remain available at subtronics.net/tour.

7. ILLENIUM: ODYSSEY at Sphere – Las Vegas, NV

ILLENIUM will release ODYSSEY February 6 before launching a nine-night residency at Sphere across March and April 2026.

The Sphere engagement represents a rare architectural collaboration between artist and venue. Leveraging the world’s highest-resolution LED display and spatial audio infrastructure, ODYSSEY is positioned as a multi-sensory album presentation rather than a conventional DJ set. Each night features a rotating special guest, adding incremental variation across the residency.

Tickets and full event information are available at illenium.com.

8. Charlie Puth: Whatever’s Clever! World Tour– Global

Charlie Puth will embark on the Whatever’s Clever! World Tour across North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom in 2026.

Spanning nearly 50 dates, the routing includes Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, underscoring Puth’s continued elevation into top-tier arena territory. The tour supports his forthcoming album and emphasizes live musicianship, with a full band configuration designed to replicate studio arrangements at scale.

Citi/AAdvantage presale begins January 13 at 10:00 AM local time. Artist presale launches January 14, followed by general on-sale January 16 via charlieputh.com.

9. Louis Tomlinson: How Did I Get Here? Tour – North America

Louis Tomlinson releases How Did I Get Here? January 23 before launching his North American arena tour June 3 in Vancouver.

The routing includes major arena stops such as Madison Square Garden, TD Garden and Scotiabank Arena, reinforcing Tomlinson’s sustained international draw following consecutive global tours. The campaign pairs album promotion with large-scale live execution, continuing his trajectory from former group member to standalone arena headliner.

Tickets are on sale now at louis-tomlinson.com.

10. Group Therapy 700 – George, WA

Above & Beyond return to The Gorge Amphitheatre September 11–13, 2026 for Group Therapy 700.

The three-day event includes a rare public Deep Set pre-party, the 700th broadcast of their globally syndicated Group Therapy radio show, and Anjunadeep Open Air closing the weekend. In doing so, the milestone format reinforces the trio’s long-term brand consistency and leverages The Gorge’s amphitheater scale and scenic setting.

Presale opens January 27 at 10:00 AM PST, with general on-sale January 29 at 10:00 AM PST via ABGT700.live.
