Bonnaroo 2025 was canceled on Friday, June 13th due to severe flooding. Following, festival organizers have asked festival-goers to weigh in on improving the festival. After a series of polls and online discussion, Bonnaroo has released a statement on the changes coming in 2026.
In an Instagram post on July 17th, Bonnaroo details plans to return to the farm June 11-14th, 2026. The festival followed up with a survey to determine the best course of action for 2026 after being canceled due to severe weather this past June.
The first survey discussed moving festival dates to later in the year. A second survey was released encompassing topics of a shorter festival, reduced capacity, and becoming a more genre-focused event.
Ultimately, festival organizers decided to keep the festival dates the same as in years past. They have made plans to move campsites out of areas that were the most affected by the severe weather. Additional changes are to move Where in the Woods stage to Centeroo in place of the Infinity Stage.

Bonnaroo has also declared that they will put “an additional multi-million-dollar budget” towards making improvements to campgrounds and restoring the property after the 2025 destruction.
Reactions towards Bonnaroo’s statement are mixed. Many were excited to see Bonnaroo returning and committing to improvement, and others questioned the priorities of the festival organizers.
