The deserts of Thermal, California pulsed with EDM energy during the fourth annual Framework In The Desert music festival held this past April 11-13, 2025. Drawing a record-breaking crowd of over 14,000 attendees, the three-night extravaganza featured over 10 of the world’s most acclaimed electronic artists. Techno powerhouses like Chris Lake, Mau P, and Alesso (performing under his BODY HI alias) headlined the event, turning the Atlantic Aviation airport hangar into a bass-thumping dance floor.
If anyone knows how to throw a dance music party out west, it’s Framework. The Los Angeles-based independent event producer has earned international acclaim by bringing over 200 diverse artists to 1.1 million fans across 35+ venues worldwide. And these venues are nothing short of ordinary, either, as Framework has reimagined spaces like LA’s Pershing Square, Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall and Avalon Hollywood. Aside from hosting this weekend’s official Coachella afterparty, Framework managed the iconic Yuma Tent, an indoor venue known for its nightclub-style atmosphere and vibrant electronic lineups. Now, Framework’s reputation within the Coachella Valley and beyond leaves many fans eager for more.
An Unforgettable Beginning
Friday night kicked off with a bang as UK producer and DJ Chris Lake returned to the stage after performing with FISHER back in 2023. His dynamic set was amplified by an electrifying surprise back-to-back performance with his “Anti Up” partner, Chris Lorenzo. GRAMMY-nominee and Juno-award winner deadmau5 performed some of his most contagious house hits. HILLS followed, bringing their own unique DJ finesse and flair to the stage decks.

Attendance wasn’t the only history-making milestone of the weekend. The Long Feng Art Car, a one-of-a-kind structure designed for diverse dance, theater and acrobatic performances, made its second-ever public appearance outside of the renowned Burning Man art festival. With massive moving dragon heads and a rotating lineup of dancers and acrobats, the LED-covered stage transformed the hangar into a luxurious, artistic stage like no other.
Speaking of luxury, Wynn Nightlife continued its annual tradition of providing premium hospitality to VIP Framework In The Desert fans. These guests enjoyed everything from exclusive seating, bottle service and top-tier guest service, elevating the festival into a high-end nightlife experience.
As the global popularity of EDM continues to rise, Framework has established itself capable of bringing the spirit of underground techno raves to California’s sun-scorched desert. For thousands of fans, next year’s Framework In The Desert is just one countdown away.
